  • CANADIAN NORTHERN RAILWAY BRIDGE
    Originally designed to bear the weight of heavy loco­motives and rolling stock, this bridge is now used by pedestrians and cyclists.
  • CENOTAPH
    The Cenotaph was erected in memory of the men and women of Central Alberta who served during the First World War.
  • CENOTAPH, 1931
    The Cenotaph recalls the patriotism, heroism and sacrifice of the Great War years (1914-1918).
  • CENTRAL ALBERTA DAIRY POOL CONDENSERY
    In 1924, the Central Alberta Dairy Pool was organized by the United Farmers of Alberta at Alix. The Pool expanded rapidly over the next decade and, in 1936, a milk condensery was built in Red Deer.
  • CENTRAL PARK HIGH SCHOOL
    The Central Park High School is the oldest public building still standing in Grande Prairie.
  • CENTRE GABLE HOUSE
    This house was probably built around 1914, and apart from the recent shed roofed extension at the rear, probably appears much as it did when it was first constructed.
  • CHI KONG TONG BUILDING, 1924
    The Chi Kong Tong building was the meeting place of the Lethbridge Branch of the Chinese Freemasons.
  • CHRIST CHURCH
    In 1909, Anglicans from the West End attending downtown churches came to same conclusion reached by the Presbyterians and the Methodists: it was time to build a church closer to home.
  • CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN CHURCH
    The small rectangular building, constructed by carpenters Shortreed and Rosser, was completed with the addition of a steeple in 1915.
  • CITY HALL PARK
    Based on the 1913 civic centre plan by local architect, C.A. Julian Sharman, City Hall Park was first landscaped in 1914.
