Robb Station

Category : Station

This station, built in 1912, was probably named after local firefighter Peter Addison "Baldy" Robb (1887-1955), who freighted supplies for the Grand Trunk Pacific main line and the branch line to Luscar. Around 1915, he took up prospecting in the coal branch area, buying up the Balkan Coal Company property in the area in 1927, after a complicated legal struggle. (see Robb)
