"Y", The

The owner of the fishing lodge in this area and the two trappers who operate traplines here call this part of the river by the descriptive name of the "Y." It joins Big Island Lake with the Sand River.

Flows north-west into Big Island Lake approximately 116 km north north-west of Fort McMurray.
