Naylor Hills
Category : Hill | |
These hills were named for an Anglican missionary, Canon R. K. Naylor of Montreal. He came to the Notikewin area and set up camp with a student. His work was sponsored by the Fellowship of the West, a group of Montreal businessmen who financed missionary endeavours. Naylor presided at the first service held in the St. John's Church in 1929. He returned to Montreal some time later, and the hills were named as testimony to his work. |
