Life as historic site The Dunvegan Historic Site and Park were
designated as such on 21 May 1992. Today, park interpreters guide
visitors through the 19th century log buildings, which have been
meticulously restored and furnished. Guests to the site can get a
glimpse of the spartan lifestyle of an Oblate missionary in the rectory;
marvel at the rustic splendour of St. Charles Mission Church; and
discover how the Hudson's Bay Factor and his family lived in the
Factor's House.
The modern Visitor Centre features an audio-visual presentation,
displays and a souvenir sales area. Historic site tours are available
during summer months.
