Sundre Pioneer Village Museum

The Sundre Pioneer Museum is located at 122– 1st Avenue in Sundre. The collection at the museum includes historic buildings, farm equipment, and artefacts used by local pioneers. There is a display of how taxidermy was performed from 1900 to 1950, and there are handicraft demonstrations. The Sundre Museum is currently presenting “Chester Mjolsness’s World of Wildlife” exhibit, which features more than 150 animal mounts from all continents against backgrounds painted to depict their natural habitats.

The Sundre Pioneer Village Museum does not currently offer specific education programs, however, tours are always available for students. Visitors are encouraged to browse the gift shop.

Daily, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Winter (September– May long weekend)
Friday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
