Nose Creek Valley Museum

The Nose Creek Valley Museum is located at 1701 Main Street South in Airdrie, at the south end of Nose Creek Park. The collection at the museum covers multiple aspects of Aidrie’s heritage. There is a natural history and geological display, a fossil display, and a First Nations history collection. There is also local history information, including farmhouse, merchant, and blacksmith interiors. The museum’s collection also includes farm equipment and antique automobiles, local military artefacts, and a caboose and rails with rail car. There is also a WWII Nose art aircraft and a 4-H display.

The museum activities include ongoing research, collection of artefacts and archival materials, the restoration of farm equipment and antique automobiles, ongoing Artist Guild displays, sales of handcrafted garden furniture and local history books, and periodic art shows and displays. The Nose Creek Valley Museum also offers tours. Contact the museum for more information.
