Before computers, Sony playstations, TV’s, and telephones were invented, people had to entertain themselves in other ways. For women one of these ways was to have an “AT-Home”. Women would go to each other’s houses to drink tea and talk about things going on in their towns or the world. These “AT-Home” parties would take place once a month or on weekends. Some women went to 3 or 4 “AT-Homes” in a single afternoon.
