  • 1882 - Fedele (Felix) Nigro was born in Italy 

  • 1895 - Amelia Anselmo was born in Grimaldi, Italy 

  • 1897 - Felix came to Canada (he was 15 years old) and worked in western and eastern Canada with the Welches. 

  • 1910-20 - Felix was involved in construction in Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as Eastern Canada (28years old in 1910)

  • 1913 - Felix went back to Italy and on March 22nd married Amelia Anselmo.
    He was 30 yrs. old and she was 17yrs. old. The family does not know if Felix had gone back to Italy before this

  • 1913 March 31st - They both emigrated to Canada (point of entry unknown)

  • 1914 - The first son Joseph Antonio (Bill) was born in Winnipeg

  • 1915 - Monty was born

  • 1919 - Bill's sister Anne was born and Norvel Mary Faught was born

  • 1920-25 - The family had a farm at Jeffrey, Alberta

  • 1925 - They moved to Edmonton

  • 1932-34 - Bill and Monty worked summers in the camps down east

  • 1935 - Bill and Monty went to St. Michael's College in Toronto

  • 1938 - Bill got his Science degree then went on and did two years of Medicine.

  • 1940 - Bill went to Nobel, Ontario and worked for CIL

  • 1942 - Bill married Norvel Mary Faught in North Bay, Ontario

  • 1943 - Bill and Norvel moved to Montreal

  • 1944 - Susan Nigro Smith was born

  • 1945 - Margaret (Billie) Purcell Nigro was born

  • 1946 - The family moved to Edson, Alberta .

  • 1949 - Francis (Frank) Nigro was born

  • 1951 - Elizabeth (Betty-Anne) Nigro Pearson was born in Edmonton

  • 1953 - Mark Kelette Nigro was born

  • 1954 - Felix Nigro dies

  • 1957 - Bill Nigro's family moves to Edmonton

  • 1960 - Mary Patricia Nigro is born

  • 1970 - Norvel Nigro dies

  • 1988 - Frank Nigro dies

  • 1988 - Amelia Nigro dies
