Lake Geneva
Category : Locality | |
The post office operated here from April 1910 through July 1937 and was likely named after Geneva, Switzerland. Two early settlers, A. Golish and Gus Christenson, suggested this name ("after a famous lake") to settle a disagreement at a meeting to find a name for the school district. The name was officially rescinded 14 January 1970. |
