Gooseberry Lake Provincial Park

This 51.79 hectare (128.00 acre) park was created by Order-in-Council No. 529/66. The origin of the name of the lake from which the name of this park is taken is unclear; it was, however, named before 1886, and probably is descriptive of a local food resource. (see Gooseberry Lake)
