Argentia Beach

The name for this summer village which was incorporated 1 January 1967, is derived from the Latin argentum, translating "silver." The community was originally named "Silver Bay," but this was changed to avoid duplication with a Silver Beach on Pigeon Lake.

Approximately 46 km west north-west of Wetaskiwin.
