Blacktail
Category : Locality | |
Named for the one-time abundance of Blacktail deer in the area. Some local residents, however, feel that the name was derived from the very dark, black forest in the area. Prior to the post office opening 1 July 1913 under the name Blacktail, this community was known as "Willows." |
