Younghusband Ridge
Category : Ridge | |
The name of this ridge was first suggested in 1927 by A.J. Ostheimer III, an American alpinist, to honour Lieutenant Colonel Sir Francis Younghusband, a member of an unsuccessful Everest expedition. It is not known whether Younghusband climbed in the Rockies, but the name was considered appropriate and was officially approved 5 May 1987. |
