Chetang Ridge

This ridge was named in 1912 by C.D. Walcott. Charles D. Walcott Jr., the son of Charles D. Walcott, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institute, was a member of a joint A.C.C.-Smithsonian expedition to Mt. Robson in 1912. "Chetang" is the Stoney Indian word for "hawk." The name was officially approved 3 December 1912.

Approximately 74 km west north-west of Jasper.
