Alfred Lake

This lake, which was originally called Lake Alfred, was named by Walter D. Wilcox (see Wilcox Pass) in 1921. One of Wilcox's fellow alpinists, A.L. Castle, had three children, Alfred, Gwendolyn and Donald. It is after Alfred that this feature was named.

Approximately 41 km north-west of Banff.
